A sneaky peek at one of our meetings!

The Cannock Crafties are a new group started by a few lovely ladies who became aquainted through the Ravelry website and also the phenomenon that is Twitter. We found a venue, selected a day and time, and had our first get-together. Four of us made it to that first meeting, and the rest as they say is history. Albeit very recent history!
Here are some pictures from the second meeting. As you can see we have grown in numbers! Eleven ladies attended in all.




One of our founder members made gorgeous cakes, and of course the bar serve drinks throughout the evening. Lots of fuel for our crafty creativity! It was great to meet some new ladies and a good time was had by all!

    Hi there, in response to your comment on my blog I just want to say that as a mother of a home-educated child I too would like more time to crochet and this has really helped as I like to try new motifs and techniques but never have time to do a bigger pattern so all my U.F.O. 's now have purpose and a life as they can become Yarn Graffiti tags. I whole-heartedly encourage you to Yarn Bomb your home town
